Harold V. Loewenstine, M.D.
Harold V. Loewenstine, M.D. received his B.A. in psychology from the University of Cincinnati in 1981 (summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa) and his M.D. from the Medical College of Ohio in 1985. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Miami Valley Hospital which is affiliated with Wright State School of Medicine in 1987. He completed his fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 1990.
Dr. Loewenstine is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. Dr. Loewenstine's private practice is located in the Norwood Professional Building at 4746 Montgomery Road, Suite 202. He also sees patients at the Jewish Hospital Mason Professional Building, the Aeropointe medical center in Blue Ash, and at the Bethesda Arrow Springs medical center in Lebanon. Dr. Loewenstine has staff privileges at Christ Hospital, Jewish Hospital, Bethesda Hospital, Anderson Mercy Hospital, and Children's Hospital.
He enjoys all aspects of patient care in both Gastroenterology and Hepatology but has special interests in chronic liver disease, viral hepatitis, colon cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, biliary/pancreatic disorders, gastroesophageal reflux disease, and therapeutic endoscopy.
